The Sorcerer's Grimoire is published by Timeless Studios. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it.

The App has no accounts and no login. Everything you save, write, or customize stays on your device, with one exception: messages you choose to send to your familiar in the chat feature are processed by our server, as described in Section 3.

1. Information We Collect

We do not ask for your name, email address, or any account information. There are no user accounts and no sign-in flows.

Almost all data you generate in the App — saved items, journal entries, custom workings, tarot readings, natal charts — is stored exclusively in your device's local storage. It never leaves your device.

The exceptions are the familiar chat feature (Section 3) and purchases (Section 4), which involve limited data leaving the device.

We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or behavioral tracking tools.

2. What Is Stored on Your Device

The App writes the following to your device's local storage only:

• Saved items — grimoire passages, herb entries, stones, woods, craft workings, sigils, runes, or tarot cards you have bookmarked
• Journal entries — text entries you write in the My Grimoire section
• Custom workings — any custom craft items you create
• Tarot readings — spread records, card draws, and notes you save
• Natal charts — birth details you enter to calculate astrological charts
• Familiar customizations — your familiar's kind, name, and what it calls you

None of this data is transmitted to us or any third party. Uninstalling the App removes all of this data from your device (subject to any device-level backups you have separately configured with Google Drive).

3. The Familiar Chat (AI Feature)

The App includes an optional chat feature where you can converse with your familiar. If you use it, the following happens:

Messages leave your device. The text you type is sent to our server, which forwards it to an AI language-model provider (Anthropic) to generate the familiar's reply. Your familiar's name, its kind, and the title you asked it to call you by are included so it can stay in character.
